Wunschträumer wins Intermediaire I under Juliane Brunkhorst


Wunschträumer successfully started into the new show season under his new rider Juliane Brunkhorst. In a strong field of 33 competitors, Wunschträumer won the S**-level dressage test - Intermédiare I at the Behrendorfer Dressage Horse Festival with a final score of 69,56%.

Calimero M by Contendro I

Calimero M starts with two victories into the new season


Our six-year-old Calimero M successfully started into the new show season with Juliane Brunkhorst. At the dressage competition on the Klosterhof Medingen, the duo won an elementary level dressage horse ability competition with a final score of 8.5 in the morning. They achieved one more victory with a final score of 8.1 only a couple of hours later, at their first start at medium dressage level.

Riccidoff by Riccione / Don Davidoff

Riccidoff top-priced horse at the PSI Auction in Ankum


Riccidoff by Riccione / Don Davidoff was purchased by us as two-year-old stallion at the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Hanover in 2007. After several successful starts at championships in 2008 and 2009 under Sandra Kötter, he changed ownership to Paul Schockemöhle in 2010. Now he was the top-priced horse of the dressage horse collection at the PSI Auction in Ankum and sold at Euro 680,000. An American sponsor is the new owner. Riccidoff is scheduled to be ridden by George Williams.

Snap Shot by Sir Donnerhall/Alabaster

Snap Shot with a final dressage score of 9.44 at the 30-day test


It was a successful year for our licensed Hanoverian stallion Snap Shot by Sir Donnerhall/Alabaster. Following his victory under our rider Rieke Schnieder at the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships and the succeeding title of Vice Federal Champion in Warendorf, Snap Shot completed an outstanding 30-day performance test in Munich. Against a strong field of competitors of 29 stallions, the judges awarded six times the partial mark of 10. The final result for Snap Shot was a dressage score of 9.44. Following a well-deserved break, Snap Shot will be prepared by Nadine Plaster for the championships in 2011.   List of results 30-day test »

Diamontes by Diamond Hit / Rotspon

Diamontes by Diamond Hit / Rotspon licensed in Verden


Our young stallion by Diamond Hit / Rotspon / Bolero cleared the first hurdle in his career: He was licensed at the Hanoverian Stallion Licensing in Verden in October 2010. Diamontes changed ownership at the succeeding auction and will be available for breeding through the Saxony-Anhalt National State Stud.

Snap Shot

Snap Shot becomes Vice Federal Champion 2010


Following his victory at the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships on the occasion of the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden, Snap Shot won the silver medal at the 2010 Federal Championships for four-year-old stallions under Rieke Schnieder. He won the qualifier for the Final of the six best stallions, followed by Fürst Fugger who later became Federal Champion.

Donna Charian

Fifth Place for Donna Charian at the 2010 Federal Championships


With a final score of 8.5, Donna Charian placed fifth in the Final of the Federal Championships of five-year-old dressage horses under Nadine Plaster. The day before, the duo ranked second in the small final and thus qualified for the Final. This year, 56 horse/rider-combinations participated in the division of five-year-old dressage horses.

Solotaenzerin in foal to Totilas

Two mares in foal to Moorlands Totilas


Following several months at the veterinarian university hospital in Utrecht/Netherlands, our mare Solotänzerin by Sandro Hit/Canaster returned to our stable in perfect state of health. If everything goes well, she will give birth to two foals in 2011, one mid of March and the other at the beginning of April. Sire of the two foals is the outstanding stallion Moorlands Totilas. Solotänzerin was bred to Moorlands Totilas. The surrogate mare Atesse will also deliver a foal from the same cross next year. Due to an injury, we put Solotänzerin out to stud. She is full sister to the exceptional mare Silberaster. The Oldenburg Champion mare Silberaster won the Federal Championships at the age of three and four, and at the age of five, she won the bronze medal at the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden.

Snap Shot by Sir Donnerhall / Alabaster

Snap Shot wins the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships 2010


Following the successes of the last weeks, our four-year-old licensed stallion Snap Shot by Sir Donnerhall/Alabaster won the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships of four-year-old stallions in Verden under our rider Rieke Schnieder. Like in the qualifier for the Final two days before, Snap Shot outpaced his competitors with a final mark of 8.58. Following this success, the Hannoveraner Verband nominated Snap Shot and Rieke Schnieder for the Federal Championships in Warendorf.

Wunschträumer successful at the qualification for the Nuremberg Cup Final


Our stallion Wunschträumer successfully competed at the 2010 International Dressage and Show Jumping Festival in Verden under his rider Hartwig Burfeind, also against strong competitors. At their first start, the duo placed third in a qualifier for the Nuremberg Cup Final with 69.55%. 36 horse/rider-combinations participated at the Prix St. Georges Special for seven- to nine-year-old dressage prospects.

Diamond of Glory con Diamond Hit / Dream of Glory

Diamond of Glory wins the South German Championships of three-year-old


Our stallion Diamond of Glory by Diamond Hit / Dream of Glory won the South German Championships of three-year-old stallions in Nördlingen under Rieke Schnieder with a final score of 8.33. Diamond of Glory was bred by the family of Franz Martin from Eckenrodt. We discovered him at the first South German Elite Foal Auction, staged on the occasion of the European Championships in Mannheim in 2007. Diamond of Glory's dam was Champion mare at the Elite Mare Show in Rhineland-Palatinate-Saar, and in 2001, she ranked fourth in the Final of the Federal Championships under Dorothee Schneider. Following this success, the South German Breed Society nominated Diamond of Glory for the 2010 Federal Championships.

With a final score of 8.6, Donna Charian by Don Schufro / Rotspon wins the South German Championships of five-year-old dressage horses in Nördlingen under Nadine Plaster. This competition was also a qualifying competition for the Federal Championships. Dieter and Heike Blessing from Köngen bred Donna Charian who is owned by Charlotte Lassetter/Great Britain and PFERD24 GmbH.

In the pouring rain, our noble chestnut gelding Donaldik became South German Vice Champion of six-year-old dressage horses under Nadine Plaster. Donaldik descends from Don Schufro. His dam is full sister to the world famous thoroughbred stallion Heraldik xx.

Wunschträumer victorious in Hanover in St. George and Intermediaire I


Our eight-year-old stallion Wunschträumer won the dressage test of S*-Prix St. Georg-level at the Lower Saxonian National Championships in Hanover under Hartwig Burfeind with a clear margin. The following day, the duo also won the Intermédiare I-test.

Mr. Touchdown FBW

Mr. Touchdown FBW sold to Julie de Deken


Our Premium stallion Mr. Touchdown FBW moved into his new stall at Academy Bartels in the Netherlands. Mr. Touchdown is in good company with other top-class horses Julie de Deken (BEL) has already successfully presented at tournaments. Julie is trained by Tineke Bartels and her daughter Imke Schellekens-Bartels and is member of the Belgian “VLP Talent Team”. The former Tannenhof stallion Lucky Dance and the bronze medallist at the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses, Fazzino, are two of her horses. We wish Julie and her parents Brigitte and Patrick lots of success for the future and are looking forward to hearing from them again soon.

The Horse Show at the Riding Centre Massener Heide/Unna was her first competition in this show season, and the five-year-old mare Donna Charian by Don Schufro/Rotspon immediately qualified for the Federal Championships in Warendorf in 2010 under Nadine Plaster. Donna Charian was bred by Heike and Dieter Blessing and is owned by Charlotte Lassetter (GB), Ian Carter (GB) and PFERD24 GmbH.

Riccidoff

Riccidoff changed to Paul Schockemöhle’s stud


Following his successes under Sandra Kötter in the last two years, Riccidoff is now owned by Paul Schockemöhle. Riccidoff became Vice Champion of the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championships on the occasion of the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden in 2009 and qualified, like in the year before, for the Federal Championships in Warendorf. He is meant to be at breeders’ disposal for the next breeding season, but his competition career is also meant to be fostered. Click here »
