PFERD24 - Successes in the past years

Desperado OLD

Desperado OLD

We purchased Desperado OLD as successor to FBW Dejavu at the Elite Auction in Vechta in autumn 2007. A brave decision and investment we have not regretted at all. The Dressage Royal-son even exceeded the hopes we had for him. Nadine Plaster loves to work him every day because of his extraordinary rideability, combined with impressive and elastic movements. Desperado OLD was the undisputed Champion of the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Verden! He won the final qualifier of five-year-old horses under Nadine Plaster with the fantastic score of 8.76. The duo even scored 9 for their overall appearance! Desperado OLD and Nadine Plaster confirmed their extraordinary quality in the Finale, and the international audience celebrated them frenetically after having won the World Championship-title in the division of five-year-old horses. The judges Dr. Dietrich Plewa and his Italian colleague Dr. Vincenzo Truppa were also captivated by the fantastic quality of this presentation. They called Desperado "Happy Athlete", because he was in complete harmony with his rider, displaying suppleness and elasticity. Goal of the season 2009 were the qualifications for the Federal Championships and for the World Breeding Dressage Championships for six-year-old horses. The highly-gifted Desperado OLD accomplished both aims without any problems. Desperado OLD was sold at the end of 2009, and he is now stabled with Carola Koppelmann at the DOKR in Warendorf for further training.

FBW Dejavu

FBW Dejavu

We purchased this gorgeous mare by Dacaprio/Glückspilz with the excellent trotting ability at the age of three. Dejavu became Baden-Württemberg National Champion of four-year-old mares and crowned her successful season with the Federal Championship-title of four-year-old riding horses. The mare displays incredible rideability, and it was already obvious at that time that she was destined for a career in the big arena. In 2005, the duo was nominated for the World Breeding Dressage Championships of five-year-old horses. And FWB Dejavu seemed to dance away in the dressage arena although the competition was very strong, among them 10 stallions. She scored 9.8 for her first-class trot! The judges were delighted by her impulsion and her extraordinary hind leg technique. For this captivating presentation, she earned a score of 8.8 for overall appearance and the bronze medal! Fourth in this test ranked Moorlands Totilas who is today incredibly successful at international level under Edward Gal. In 2006, FBW Dejavu repeated her brilliant presentation at the World Breeding Dressage Championships for six-year-old horses. The duo only just missed a medal and achieved an excellent fourth place. In the meantime, the international dressage scene took notice of the expressive, eagerly collecting mare. A sensational presentation at the German Masters in Stuttgart for the benefit of the Baden-Württemberg Supporter’s Club “FBW” created desires. Nadine Plaster continued to train and to foster her successful horse to compete at advanced level during the winter, but we finally could not refuse another purchase offer from Great Britain.

FBW Alassio

FBW Alassio

The Alabaster-son FBW Alassio was in training with Nadine Plaster until his early death. The incredibly sporty stallion successfully competed at riding horse championships at the age of three and four: in 2000, he won the South German Stallion Championships and ranked 10th at the Federal Championships. One year later at the age of five, he was the winner of the Baden-Württemberg Black-Golden Badge for dressage horses, he won Alpencup and ranked again 10th at the Federal Championships. It was a pleasure and easy to train the typey FBW Alassio as he always worked willingly. In 2003, he again won the Black-Golden Badge and the South German Dressage Horse Championships. And then later on in Verden, at the World Breeding Dressage Horse Championships for six-year-old horses: FBW Alassio and Nadine Plaster celebrated their debut at a World Championship with a fantastic fifth place. At the beginning of November 2003, FBW Alassio suddenly collapsed in his stall. An allergic shock was the result of the autopsy. Thanks to his progeny, FBW Alassio is still alive for us and for Birkhof stud farm. He passed on his charm, his extraordinary rideability and his willingness to work to his progeny. Various offspring are successfully competing in the dressage arena.

Royaldik

Royaldik

We are the breeders of Birkhof-stallion Royaldik. He is a refined, blood-shaped son by Royal Diamond out of Herka xx, the full sister to the unfortunately far too early deceased thoroughbred stallion Heraldik xx, heading the WBFSH event rankings. Nadine Plaster trained the halfbred Royaldik at the age of three and four. He displays talent for various disciplines and because of the extraordinary quality of his movements and his fantastic rideability, Royaldik won the 30-day performance test. He even exceeded the expectations with the victory and a dressage index of 149 points at the 70-day performance test in Neustadt-Dosse. Various victories and placements in jumper, event and dressage riding horse classes up to medium level highlight the stallion’s fantastic willingness to perform. Birkhofs Royaldik placed high in M**-level dressage tests under Falk Stankus. His offspring are popular in training stables as they are all excellently to ride and easy to handle. His son Release was South German Vice Champion and competitor at the Federal Championships.

Donna Charian

Donna Charian

Our rider Anica Eckstein-Unger started to train the Don Schufro-daughter Donna Charian under the supervision of Nadine Plaster and to prepare her for the 2008 Baden-Württemberg National Championships in Tübingen. The impressive liver chestnut mare won the opening competition, scoring 9 for all three basic gaits! In the Finale, her rideability was judged with 9.5 by a test rider! Donna Charian and Nadine Plaster also achieved an excellent sixth place in the Finale at the Federal Championships in Warendorf. The mare was bred by Dieter and Heike Blessing from Wilburgstetten and is owned byCharlotte Lassetter/Great Britain and PFERD24 GmbH.

Birkhof's Meraldik

At the age of five, the Münchhausen-son qualified for the Federal Dressage Horse Championships with Nadine Plaster. Then Nicole Casper continued to train Meraldik, and both ranked eighth at the Federal Championships in 2007. Birkhofs Meraldik is now seven years old, and he successfully competes at advanced dressage level under Falk Stanhus.

He competed in the Finale of the Nuremburg Cup in Frankfurt under Ingrid Klimke before achieving first Grand Prix-experiences and placements in the Piaffe Challenge Cup under Helen Langehanenberge. First big success in his impressive career was the third place at the Alpenchampionat for riding horses in Schwaiganger under Nadine Plaster. The duo already won a medium level dressage riding horse class at the age of five. FBW Lonevan easily learns, and his special talent for piaffe and passage became obvious very soon. In 2002, FBW Lonevan changed to the international dressage stable of Ingrid Klimke.

Birkhof’s Highlight

Birkhof’s Highlight

Nadine Plaster had been training the licensed Heraldik-son Birkhof’s Highlight for Birkhof stud farm for four years. The Zweibrücken stallion dominated the riding horse classes in Rhineland-Palatinate-Saar at the age of three and four. Nadine Plaster and Highlight won both times, the second time with the incredible test rider score of 9.5! The balance sheet of Birkhof’s Highlight and Nadine Plaster features lots of placements and golden ribbons up to medium dressage level. In the last show season 2008, the halfbred stallion achieved first placements at advanced level under Thomas Schmitz.

Die oder Keine

Die oder Keine

The gorgeously-coloured Diamond Hit/Alabaster-daughter delighted the audience at the Baden-Württemberg National Championships. She was still a bit cautious in the opening competition, but in the Finale, Nadine Plaster knew how to present all her qualities, and the duo dominated the competition. “Die oder keine” was the name of the four-year-old mare when she changed to Great Britain at the auction in autumn.
